Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
First-year attacker Tobin Lonergan of Colorado College scored seven goals and added a pair of assists while leading the Tigers to a 1-1 record against two of the top teams from the East Coast. After scoring once during Wednesday’s 12-8 setback against Amherst, Lonergan tied her season high of six goals and set a high with eight points in Saturday’s 21-13 victory over a tough McDaniel squad. The freshman attacker recorded a natural hat trick in the first quarter when CC raced to a 4-0 lead. Junior midfielder Emma Pertuit of Southwestern had six goals and one assist in three matches for the Pirates. She also dominated draw controls, which included gaining seven possessions for her team off the draw against Whittier.
