SHERMAN, Texas - Paul Burns has resigned his position as head women's soccer coach at Austin College.

"We appreciate Paul's time and effort creating and providing leadership to our women's soccer program the last 17 years," said athletics director David Norman. "We wish him well in his future endeavors."

Burns is the only coach in Kangaroo women's soccer history, helping to create the program in 1996 and compiling a 176-117-26 record in his 17 years at the helm.

Through his time at Austin College, Burns led the 'Roos to four straight American Southwest Conference East Division titles from 1999-2002, and an ASC championship in 2000. He also led the 'Roos to two NCAA National Tournament berths in 1999 and 2000.
