No. 1 Trinity University will take on No. 2 Colorado College to determine the SCAC champion and the league's AQ recipient. Trinity will be seeking its 18th conference title in men's tennis while Colorado College will be looking for its first.

Earlier in the day, #4 Austin College earned a victory over #5 Centenary to start the day, with the 'Roos taking a 7-2 win over the Gents.

From there, Austin advanced to face top-seeded Trinity in the afternoon, and the Tigers earned a 9-0 shutout wins to advance to the SCAC Championship match.

The #2 seed Colorado College men also reached the championship in a hard-fought 5-4 win over #3 Southwestern. The match was moved up to 11:00 a.m. to try and avoid expected bad weather in the South Texas area.

Because of potential bad weather forecasts for Sunday, Colorado College and Trinity agreed to attempt to determine the conference championship Saturday night, but lightning caused two delays before thunderstorms forced the teams to postpone until the morning.

In addition to the championship matches, Centenary and Southwestern men will play in the consolation bracket - as will the Centenary and Colorado College women's teams.
