Trinity Up Two Spots to Sixth in latest D3baseball.com Top 25 Poll

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -
Trinity University had the week off and moved up  two spots from eighth to sixth in the eleventh D3baseball.com Top 25 poll of the 2013 regular season.

The Tigers won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship for the the fifth time in the last eight years with a perfect 3-0 record the weekend of April 25-28 and are now 36-7 overall. Trinity has now won 31 of its last 36 games.

Linfield remained No. 1 with 618 points and was one of five teams to receive first place votes joining St. Thomas (Minn.), Wisconsin-Whitewater, Cortland State and Manchester (Ind.). Trinity totaled 456 points in the poll, 19 points ahead of No. 7 Cal Lutheran.

Trinity will await its its NCAA regional draw when the 2013 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship field is announced on May 13.
