Trinity Third in Latest D3baseball.com Top 25 Poll

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - After a 4-1 week in non-conference play, Trinity University fell one spot from second to third in this week's D3baseball.com Top 25 poll.

The Tigers, who are now 23-5 overall and 9-3 in the SCAC, have won 17 of their last 20 games and resume play today hosting Concordia (Texas).

Trinity received seven first place votes, second only to new No. 1 Linfield College (18-4) which received nine first place votes. The Tigers totaled 552 points in the poll, one point behind Cortland State for the No. 2 spot in the poll.

After hosting Concordia (Texas), Trinity resumes SCAC play on March 28-29 when first place Centenary comes to town for the final two games of their five game regular season series.
