Trinity jumps four spots to third in ABCA Division III Baseball Poll

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - In the seventh American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division III poll of the 2013 regular season, Trinity University jumped up four spots to third.

The Tigers won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship for the the fifth time in the last eight years with a perfect 3-0 record and are now 36-7 overall. Trinity has now won 31 of its last 36 games.

Linfield remained No. 1 with 480 points. Trinity totaled 408 points in the poll, one point ahead of No. 4 Salisbury.

Trinity will await its its NCAA regional draw when the 2013 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship field is announced on May 13.
