Trinity's Warren Places in Tie for 14th in NCAA Men's High Jump

LA CROSSE, Wis. - Trinity Tigers junior George Warren placed in a three-way tie for 14th in the men's high jump Friday at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships.

Warren recorded a best jump of 2.00 meters (6-06.75) at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

He won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference high jump title last month, with a mark of 2.00 meters, and was a member of the champion 4x400-meter relay team.
 
On Thursday, recent Trinity graduate Justin Campbell placed 13th in the NCAA men's discus, with a throw of 49.14 meters (161-03). Junior Vanessa Moreno finished 18th in the women's 10,000 meters, clocking in at 37:41.52.
