SCAC places 15 on USTFCCCA All-Academic teams

SCAC places 15 on USTFCCCA All-Academic teams

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference placed 15 student-athletes on the 2009 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Track & Field teams.

Ten women and five men were named to the team. To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a grade point average of 3.30 and have met the NCAA Division III Indoor or Outdoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard in their respective event.

The women's team consisted of Centre College's Emily Niehaus, DePauw University's Alison Case, Adrienne Cobb and Lauren Reich, Rhodes College's Julia Goss, Sandy Henin, Taylor Stephens, and Kim Tryon, and Trinity University's D'Ann Arthur and Liz Eder.

The men's team consisted of Colorado College's Logan Boccard, Hendrix College's Jerry Maldonado and Trinity University's Zachary Brush, Justin Campbell and  Todd Wildman.
