CHANDLER, Ariz. - The SCAC had three teams and
30 individuals honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches
Association (NFHCA) with the release of its annual National
Academic Team and Squad Awards.
Centre College, DePauw University and Sewanee-University of the
South were recognized as 2008 NFHCA Division III National Academic
Team Award winners as each program had a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The SCAC also had 30 student-athletes named to the 2008 NFHCA
Division III National Academic squad. The National Academic Squad
recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative
GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of
the 2008-09 academic year.
