Trinity University Ranked Sixth and Seventh in National Polls

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Trinity (Texas) University (3-0-1) retained the No. 6 ranking in the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III Top 25 women's poll, the No. 7 ranking in the D3Soccer.com women's Top 25 poll, and the No. 1 ranking for the NSCAA West Regional poll for week two.

The Tigers finished its first road weekend of the season with a 1-0-1 record, tying Claremont 1-1 on Friday night, then earning a 2-0 shutout victory over Chapman on Sunday. Against Chapman, the Tigers got a pair of second-half goals, and the defense posted its first shutout of the year. 

Trinity returns home this weekend, hosting UT-Tyler on Friday and UT-Dallas on Sunday.
