LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Trinity Tigers junior offensive
lineman Jonathan Prescott has been elected to the Capital One
Academic NCAA Division III All-District 8 Football First Team.
Prescott is an economics and business administration major (finance), with a 3.66 grade point average.
The Academic All-District Team is selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The national Academic All-America Team will be released Dec. 3.
The 6-foot, 269-pound Prescott has earned a place on
Trinity’s Dean’s List, and the Southern Collegiate
Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll, on each of two occasions.
He is a key member of the Tiger O-line which has spearheaded
Trinity to 3,633 yards of total offense (1,198 rushing, 2,435
passing).
