LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Texas Lutheran University freshman Kraig Zimmerhanzel has earned SCAC Men's Golfer of the Week after an outstanding effort earlier this week to lead the Bulldogs.

KRAIG ZIMMERHANZEL OF TEXAS LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY, a freshman from Smithville, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men's Golfer-of-the-Week for all tournaments through Tuesday, February 25th.
Zimmerhanzel led the Bulldogs as TLU finished eighth as a team in last week's Linda Lowery Invitational, hosted by Concordia (Texas).
Zimmerhanzel used a strong second round to finish tied for 21st in the tournament, shooting a combined score of 158 (+14). The second round was Zimmerhanzel's best as he fired a 4-over par 76 to make his move up the leader board. He started the second round tied for 34th after a first-round 8-over 82.
