BRETT O'BRIEN OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a senior from Plano, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Week for matches player from Monday, March 1 through Sunday, March 7.
O'Brien went undefeated for the second straight weekend at number one singles, winning 6-0, 6-1 against Ozarks and 6-0, 6-1 against Mary Hardin-Baylor as the 'Roos posted victories in both matches.

Junior Mario Gallinar of Schreiner clinched a 5-4 match victory for the Mountaineers, coming back from a set down to take the 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (8) victory at No. 5 singles. Junior Vesko Lekovic of Southwestern defeated Texas Lutheran's Matthew Stephenson, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 1 singles in the Pirates' 9-0 victory. Junior Juanrodrigo Lopez of St. Thomas earned a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at the No. 2 line against Texas Lutheran.
