KENEDIE LANE OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a junior goalkeeper from Frisco, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for games played from Monday, September 18th through Sunday, September 24th. SCAC Women's Soccer Release (Week 4)
Lane continued her strong junior campaign as Austin College went 2-0 last week with wins against Howard Payne and Randall University, netting just under 120 minutes of scoreless action in goal for the 'Roos. Layne earned the shutout in a 1-0 road win at HPU, making six saves, and followed that up by getting the win after allowing no goals in 29:48 in a 7-1 win over Randall. Austin College has allowed just eight goals through the first seven fixtures, the fewest since the shortened 2020-21 season.
