TIM SMITH OF AUSTIN COLLEGE, a sophomore from Grand Prairie, Texas, has been selected the SCAC Men’s Swimmer of the Week for performances during the meets swam Monday, November 6 to Sunday, November 12. SCAC Swimming & Diving Release (Week 5)
Smith had four very solid swims against University of Ozarks this past Saturday. He improved his 1000 free time by nine seconds with a 11:31.41 finish and swam a 2:28.02 in the 200 back. Additionally, he had the comeback swim of the meet in the 400 IM, placing second with a time of 3:51.60.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Senior Wiley Grantham of University of the Ozarks controlled both distance events he competed in at Saturday's home dual meet against Austin College. He swam the 1000 free in 11:17.47 and posted a time of 5:34.78 in the 500 free.
