Trinity University Ranked 10th and 21st in National Polls

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Trinity (Texas) University (2-1-1) earned the No. 10 ranking in the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III top 25 men's poll, the No. 21 ranking in the D3Soccer.com men's top 25 poll, and the No. 1 ranking for the NSCAA West Regional poll for week two.

The University of Dallas (4-0-0) and Texas Lutheran University (3-0-0) both received the No. 10 ranking in the NSCAA West Regional poll.

Trinity split its opening weekend of games, falling 2-0 to Luther (IA) College on Friday night, than bouncing back with a 1-0 win over the University of Puget Sound on Sunday night. With Sunday's win, the Tigers avoided their first 0-2 start since the 1993 season, though the team did drop its first season opener since 2009.

Trinity will face Hardin-Simmons University and the University of Texas-Dallas in Abilene, Texas, this weekend.
