SCAC Announces 2013 Men's Soccer Tournament Bracket

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The SCAC office today released the championship bracket for the 2013 men's soccer conference tournament, which will be played Friday-Sunday, November 8-10 in Georgetown, Texas, on the campus of Southwestern UniversityComplete Bracket

Trinity University, the defending SCAC champions, clinched the top seed and a first-round bye for this year's tournament after a 1-0 defeat of Southwestern on Friday. The Tigers are currently ranked seventh in the nation and finished with a conference record of 13-1-0 (16-2-1 overall). The host school, Southwestern, also earned a first-round bye and is the tournament's second seed with a 11-2-1 conference mark (13-6-1 overall).

Rounding out the seeds are No. 3 Colorado College (11-3-0 / 13-5-2), No. 4 Texas Lutheran Unniversity (7-7-0 / 10-7-0), No. 5 Schreiner University (4-8-2 / 4-12-3) and No. 6 Austin College (4-8-2 / 4-12-3).

The tie for fifth place favored Schreiner University as the Mountaineers were 1-0-1 head-to-head against the 'Roos in the two conference matches between the squads.
