Trinity jumps to 14th in Latest NSCAA/Continental Tire Top 25 Men’s Soccer Poll

KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Trinity (Texas) University (10-2-1, 8-1) continued its move up the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III Top 25 rankings - jumping seven places to 14th in this week's poll.

The Tigers also reentered this week's D3soccer.com Top 25, coming in at 21st.

Trinity also improved from third to second in the NSCAA West Region poll. Southwestern (Texas) University (10-5, 8-1) slipped one spot to 10th in those same Regional rankings.

Trinity swept its two conference matches this past weekend, defeating the University of Dallas, 6-0, on Friday and Colorado College, 4-0, on Sunday. Southwestern split its two matches, falling from the ranks of the unbeaten in SCAC play. The Pirates dropped for their first SCAC match of the 2013 season on Friday, losing 4-0 to Colorado College, before rebounding with a 4-1 victory over the University of Dallas on Sunday.
