Trinity University 22nd in the Latest NSCAA/Continental Tire Top 25 Men’s Poll

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Trinity (Tex.) University (4-2-1, 2-1) received the No. 22 ranking in the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Division III top 25 men's poll and the No. 3 ranking for the NSCAA West Regional poll for week four. Trinity received votes in the D3Soccer.com national Top 25 poll.

Trinity recorded a pair of shutouts to improve to 4-2-1 overall and 2-1-0 in SCAC play over the weekend. The Tigers defeated Texas Lutheran 4-0 to start the weekend, and then finished with an 8-0 win over Schreiner on Sunday.

Trinity con­tinues SCAC play this weekend, hosting Centenary and Austin College on Friday and Sunday. The Tigers swept the two teams in a home-and-home series last year. Trinity won 3-0 and 7-0 over Centenary, and took 5-1 and 6-2 wins over Austin.
