LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Continuing to stay on top, the Texas Lutheran Bulldogs amassed the highest point total for the #SCACTrending competition during the week beginning October 20, 2014 and running through October 26, 2014.
TLU earned 364 points this week, split almost equally between twitter and Instagram usage. The biggest jump came from Centenary College who moved from eighth place last week to fourth this week with a total of 123 points.
The University of Dallas remained in second place this week after earning 171 points. The Colorado College Tigers moved up to the third spot after finishing the last week in fifth, earning 146 points.
Austin College dropped out of the top three for this first time in the competition, falling to sixth place with just 101 points.
Points are tallied by hashtag usage on Twitter and Instagram, with one point awarded for every time the school's designated hashtag is used in a tweet and two points each time it is used in an Instagram picture
Normally, the school that has accumulated the highest point total will take over the SCAC Instagram account for the weekend, however, this week, the “most improved” campus will do the honors. This campus will select one or more student-athletes to gain access to the SCAC Instagram account from Thursday through Sunday.
