ZOE TOMLINSON OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a first-year forward from New York, N.Y., has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, January 24 through Sunday, January 30. (Women's Basketball Weekly Release - Week 12)

Tomlinson posted a pair of double-doubles to lead Colorado College to a pair of key SCAC victories last week. During Friday’s 78-62 victory at Dallas, Tomlinson scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. During Sunday’s 63-20 home win over Austin College, Tomlinson produced 16 points and 15 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season. It marked the first regular season win over AC since December 2012 for Colorado College. She shot 56.3 percent from the floor during the two games and added three blocked shots, one steal and one assist. Tomlinson now leads the team averaging 8.2 rebounds per game and third at 8.5 points per outing.

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior guard Destini Powell of Centenary averaged 15.7 points and 11.0 rebounds in three games last week for the Ladies. She also added 1.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.3 blocks per game and posted a pair of double-doubles on the week. First-year guard Elisa Peralta of Schreiner averaged 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 3.0 steals as the Mountaineers split a pair of SCAC contests last week. In the win over Centenary, Peralta finished the game with 11 points and four rebounds, steals, and assists. Senior guard Lauren Fulenwider of Southwestern averaged 13.5 points in a pair of games last week for the Pirates. Fulenwider hit nine three-point field goals last week. She now leads the nation in made three-point field goals with 73, 10 clear of second place. Sophomore guard Micayla Hamilton of St. Thomas led the Celts to a win over Dallas in their lone game last week. Hamilton poured in 29 points on 61.1 percent shooting and added seven rebounds, six steals and three assists to help snap a five-game skid. Senior center Hailey Coleman of Trinity led the Tigers to a pair of road wins in SCAC play last week, taking sole possession of first place in the standings with Saturday's win at Texas Lutheran. Coleman averaged 12.5 points/game for the week, connecting on 61.1 percent (11-of-18) from the field. She also had 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 2.5 steals, and 2.5 blocks per game for the two victories.
