GEORGIA MULLINS OF COLORADO COLLEGE, a senior middle hitter from Olathe, Kansas, has been named the SCAC Volleyball Offensive Co-Player-of-the-Week for matches played from Monday, October 11 through Sunday, October 17. SCAC Volleyball Release (Week 7)

shares the award this week with Avery Tuggle of Trinity University.

Mullins 
was named MVP of the 2021 CC Invitational after dominating on both sides of the net during the Tigers' four victories. For the weekend, she averaged 4.26 kills, 2.86 digs, 1.64 blocks, and a whopping 5.61 points per set. In the marquis match against No. 20 UC Santa Cruz, Mullins flirted with a triple-double finishing with 21 kills, a career-high 15 digs and seven total blocks, which matched her career best. In the final match of the weekend, a sweep of Cornell College, Mullins posted has second double-double of the weekend and the third of her career with 14 kills, 10 digs and six total blocks. In the first match of the weekend, a sweep of Nebraska Wesleyan, Mullins recorded 14 kills and became the 21st Tiger to reach the 800 or more during her career. She finished the weekend with 858, which ties her for 19th place on CC's career list with Laura Goldberg (2009-12).  

Other outstanding performances in the SCAC:
Junior outside hitter Emma White of Southwestern totaled double-digit kills in all four weekend matches and double-digit digs in three of the four. She finished with 46 kills and 49 digs, including 14 kills in the Pirates' five-set match against Trinity. She also contributed four service aces and four blocks to finish with 52 points. Sophomore outside hitter Tanyse Moehrig-Woodard of Texas Lutheran was everywhere for the Bulldogs over the weekend, scoring 33 points including 25 in a five-set thriller against eighth-ranked UMHB. She finished the week with 30 kills, 11 digs, and five blocks. Sophomore setter Mia Moreno of Schreiner led the Mountaineers to two conference victories over the weekend. Among her numbers, the sophomore finished with 125 assists, 39 digs, and five service aces. Sophomore outside hitter Cassie Dyoub of Dallas put together a season best performance in a crucial conference match-up against Austin College. She recorded her third double-double of the season with 11 digs and a season high 20 kills while hitting .333. Her efforts lifted the Crusaders to a tight 3-0 sweep, as each set was determined by four points ot less.
