NEW ORLEANS, La. - A total of nine men's & women's track & field teams from the SCAC earned 2012 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic status, the organization announced today.
On the women's side Colorado College and Trinity University earned the honor as did Hendrix College, Rhodes College and Sewanee: University of the South.
On the men's side Colorado College and Trinity earned the honor. Rounding out the men's selections was Rhodes and Sewanee.
A total of 137 institutions earned the distinction on the women's side as a result of a cumulative team GPA of 3.10 or better while 74 men's teams were honored for their academic achievements.
