TOWSON, Md. - Centre College senior men's track & field student-athlete Willie Polio was named to the Capital One Academic All-America® team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the organization announced today.
Polio was named to the second team. The Owensboro, Ky. native maintained a perfect 4.00 Grade Point Average (GPA) as a chemical physics major.
Polio was the only student-athlete from the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference to be honored with the prestigious award.
