Colorado College's Van Arsdale Resigns To Take Division I Job

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado College head men's lacrosse coach Guy Van Arsdale resigned this week to take the head lacrosse coach position at Division I Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Fla.

In his two seasons at Colorado College, Van Arsdale guided the Tigers to a 25-3 record overall record including the first two lacrosse championships in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference history. He led Colorado College to a program best 15-1 record in 2011 as well as the program's first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division III playoffs.

Van Arsdale leaves Colorado College as the only coach in the brief history of SCAC men's lacrosse to win the league's Coach of the Year award. He won the award in both 2010 and 2011.
