Trinity's Abby Loar Earns Second Straight NSCAA All-American Honor

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Trinity University senior Abby Loar, a forward, was elected to the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division III Women's All-America Team for the second straight time. The high-scoring Loar made the All-America First Team.

Loar scored 21 goals (eight game-winners) and made 11 assists, for 53 points during the campaign, and was second on the team in all categories. She is Trinity's all-time scoring and points leader, with 58 goals and 150 total points. Loar stands third in Tiger career assists, with 34.

Loar who earlier this year was selected as the SCAC Offensive Player-of-the-Year for the second consecutive season is one of nine players selected to the All-American team as a repeat selection.

This marks the third straight season Trinity has been represented on the All-American team and the fourth straight year the SCAC has been represented.
