KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) placed 12 men's basketball players on the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2011-12 Academic Honors Court, announced on July 10. NABC Release
Austin College, Millsaps College and Trinity University had four players each named to the elite squad.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes the talents and gifts that these men possess off the court and the hard work they exhibit in the classroom. In order to be named to the Honors Court, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior varsity player, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher, have matriculated at least one year at their current NCAA/NAIA institution.
