HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference today placed four student-athletes on the 2012 Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) 2012 Division III PING All-Region teams, the organization announced.
SCAC champion Oglethorpe University placed a league-high two players on the team. Representing the Stormy Petrels were first-year Anthonly Maccaglia and junior Eric Quinn. They were joined on the Southeast Region team by Centre College senior Grant Hinton.
Rounding out the SCAC's selections was Trintiy University first-year Kalen Vos, who was selected to the All-West team.
Maccaglia was also named as one of six members of the Division III All-Freshman Team. The six member team is composed of one golfer from each of the six regions in Division III with Maccaglia earning Southeast Region recognition.
