The second quarterfinal pits the No. 4 seed Austin College (9-5 SCAC / 14-10 overall) vs. No. 5 seed Schreiner University (9-5 SCAC / 14-11 overall) in what should be an evenly matched contest. The two teams split their regular season contests with both squads defending their home court. This will also be Schreiner's first SCAC postseason appearance.

In Friday's third quarterfinal contest, the host school and defending conference champion, Trinity University, (10-4 SCAC / 18-7 overall) will take on the No. 7 seed Colorado College (2-12 SCAC / 2-23 overall).
