2014 SCAC Women's Basketball Tournament - Day One Recap

SAN ANTONIO, Texas
- It was the women's side of the tournament bracket that provided the surprises of the day as fifth-seeded Schreiner University and sixth-seeded University of Dallas both advanced to Saturday's semifinal round of the 2014 SCAC Women's Basketball Championship.

Top-seeded Texas Lutheran University and second-seeded Trinity University also advanced.

GAME 2 - #5 SCHREINER UNIVERSITY 75, #4 AUSTIN COLLEGE 63
SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Fifth-seeded Schreiner University picked up its first postseason win in program history, defeating fourth-seeded Austin College, 75-63, in the second quarterfinal of the 2014 SCAC Women's Basketball Tournament. Complete Recap

GAME 3 - #2 TRINITY UNIVERSITY 79, #7 COLORADO COLLEGE 53
SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Second-seeded Trinity University, playing on its home floor, stormed out to a 49-23 halftime lead and never looked back to take a 79-53 victory over Colorado College in the third quarterfinal game of the 2014 SCAC Women's Basketball Tournament. Complete Recap
