LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Despite heavy rain, the SCAC softball season continued into the sixth week of competition.
Trinity University (12-4, 6-0) continued their hot streak by winning their seventh straight game after a doubleheader sweep over Dallas (6-12, 2-4). The No. 6 Bulldogs of Texas Lutheran University (16-1, 4-0) posted a 3-1 week, dropping their first game of the season to Trine.
Southwestern University (10-10, 3-5) went 3-1 against Centenary College (9-9, 3-5) over the weekend. Austin College (10-10, 0-4) continued their Florida road-trip, posting a 2-2 mark against out-of-conference opponents.
