LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference softball season finished its second week with all but one team having begun competition.
Austin College (3-1) split a doubleheader with Hendrix. The 'Roos fell 11-4 in the first game but rallied to post a 12-8 victory. Centenary College (4-2) began the season with a 1-1 split against LeTourneau. The Ladies would go on to sweep Southwestern Assemblies and split against Millsaps losing the first game in extra innings.
Dallas (1-1) also began competition splitting against Hendrix while Southwestern University (2-2) fell to Hardin-Simmons. Schreiner University (0-4) and Trinity University (0-0) did not compete
