LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The SCAC Softball Championship seeding is set after the eleventh week of competition.
The current SCAC leader, No. 3 Texas Lutheran University (37-2, 23-1) locked up the #1 seed after sweeping the #2 seed, Trinity University (24-10, 17-3). Dallas (16-14, 11-5) picked up the #3 seed after splitting in both doubleheaders against the #6 seed Schreiner University (7-27, 5-15).
Southwestern University (18-18, 11-13) faces out-of-conference competition this week but claimed the #4 seed. Centenary College (17-19, 6-14) earned the #5 seed afer taking three of four from Austin College (13-23, 3-17).
The SCAC Softball Championship will begin on Friday, April 22nd on the campus of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. #4 Southwestern will face #5 Centenary in game one at noon on Friday with #1 Texas Lutheran awaiting the winner of that game. #3 Dallas will face #6 Schreiner at 2PM on Friday with the winner facing #2 Trinity.
