HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Dallas scored two runs in the 3rd to tie the game and another run in the 4th that tied the game a second time.
  • Trinity's Rylie Goldwait singled to open the inning and scored what would be the winning run on a wild pitch in the bottom of the 5th.
  • Dallas outhit Trinity 10-6.
  • Both teams made two errors and both teams scored one unearned run.
  • Trinity has won its first tournament game at the SCAC championships for eight consecutive years.

UP NEXT

Trinity advances to play Texas Lutheran in tomorrow's semifinal winner's bracket game at 2 p.m., with the winner advancing to Sunday's championship round. Dallas will play Southwestern University in an elimination game scheduled for Noon on Saturday.
