LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The softball programs of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference continued out-of-conference competition in the third week of the season.
Austin College (5-1) extended their win streak to three games with a doubleheader sweep over Rust. Centenary College (6-2) has also won three straight after their 2-0 week.
Southwestern University (4-4) fell in two games to Concordia (Tex.) earlier in the week before posting a sweep over Our Lady of the Lake University. Trinity University (2-2) opened the season on the west coast with games against Redlands and Occidental.
Dallas (2-4) was 2-2 on the week as they faced Millsaps and Huntingdon. Schreiner University (0-6) remained winless.
