LEXINGTON, Ky., -- Junior right-side hitter Lauren Crabtree was named the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III Player of the Week for her performances in Southwestern's two wins over Texas Lutheran University last weekend.
Crabtree posted a pair of triple-doubles to extend her triple-double streak to three matches. In the first match, she had 13 kills, 16 assists, and 12 digs with one ace and one block. In the second match, she had 12 kills, 17 assists, and 12 digs with five aces and one block. She averaged 3.13 kills per set in eight sets played on a .214 hitting percentage.
She is the third Pirate to be named the AVCA Player of the Week and first since Nikki Welch in 2016.
