Mitrofanova, a junior from Conroe, Texas, and Lee, a freshman from Jackson, Miss., went undefeated against two scholarship programs this weekend, defeating NCAA Division II UT-Tyler's Brooklyn Ross and Kanika Sivaraman, 8-7, in line 2 doubles, followed by an 8-4 win over NCAA Division I UT-Rio Grande Valley's Isabelle Bahr and Lea Karren, 8-4.
Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Anamaria Gonzalez and junior Alejandra Lopez of St. Thomas went 1-1 on the week, which included a dismantling of the McMurry (Texas) squad at line one as the duo claimed the 8-2 victory. Junior Blair Drought-Villarreal and sophomore Rachel Rompel of Schreiner earned an 8-3 victory at No. 3 doubles over the team from Tabor College in their only matching of the weekend.
