CLEBURNE, Texas -- Trinity University punched its ticket to the 2023 SCAC Baseball Championship final on Sunday, but the Tigers will have to wait one more day before they find out their opponent in Sunday's championship round as the evening's final contest between Centenary College and Texas Lutheran University was suspended in the top of the second inning due to lightning in the area. That elimination game will resume at 11 a.m. CT on Sunday, with the winner advancing to the championship round against Trinity. First pitch for that contest is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT.
If an "if necessary" game is needed, that game would be played on Monday, May 8 at 4 p.m. CT, also at The Depot at Cleburne Station.
