SEGUIN, Texas - Top-seeded and host Texas Lutheran University advanced to the program's 10th consecutive SCAC championship game after recording a 4-0 victory over second-seeded Trinity University on Saturday afternoon. HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bulldogs got the scoring started early as Texas Lutheran plated a run in the bottom of the first on a bunt RBI single from Reagan Hillis that scored Caelee Clark.
- Texas Lutheran added a bases loaded walk from Madison Johnson that pushed the lead to 2-0 in the third. Taylor Vannett drew another bases loaded walk right after Johnson's to extend the lead to 3-0.
- Clark added an insurance run in the sixth for the Bulldogs as she scored on a passed ball to ensure Texas Lutheran a spot in tomorrow's SCAC Championship game.

- TLU's Caelee Clark's three steals today tied an SCAC record for most steals in a single tournament game in league history. Her total of five so far are tied for second most in a single tournament and needs just one in tomorrow's final to tie the record of six set by Alyssa Maki of Schreiner back in 2017.

Trinity falls into the loser's bracket and will play the winner of the Southwestern vs. St. Thomas game later this evening at a time TBD.
