Colorado College's Wagner Named USTFCCCA All-Academic

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado College senior track & field student-athlete Andrew Wagner was named to the 2011 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic men's team for his accomplishments on the track and in the classroom.

Wagner, a recent Colorado College graduate, was one of 200 student-athletes representing 72 institutions that was honored with award from across the country.

To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 and have met an NCAA automatic or provisional qualifying mark in an individual or relay event at some point in either indoor or outdoor seasons. Participation in an NCAA Championship also fulfills the athletic component of All-Academic qualification.

Wagner was the only Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference student-athlete named to the men's team.
