SCAC Has Two Named to D3football.com All-Decade Team

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Millsaps College's Matt O'Bryant and Trinity University's Jerheme Urban were both named to the D3football.com All-Decade team, the website announced. O'Bryant and Urban were both fourth-team selections and the only two SCAC representatives on the team.

O'Bryant (1999-03) finished his career as a two-time SCAC Defensive Player of the Year (2001, 2002) and is the SCAC era's career leading tackler with 462. He ranks second all-time in career tackles in the CAC/SCAC.

O'Bryant was a four-time First Team All-SCAC selection led the league in tackles per game three times and finished second once. He set the league's single-season record for fumble recoveries with six in 2003.

Urban (1999-02) finished his career second in receiving yards and receptions at Trinity, and fourth in the SCAC in receiving yards (2,565) and ninth overall in receptions (157). He often made the most of his receptions, scoring 32 receiving touchdowns in his career - good for second on the all-time league charts at the time of his graduation.

Urban went on to play in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, and is currently with the Kansas City Chiefs. He was a member of Trinity's 2002 team that played in Stagg Bowl XXX and also played in Super Bowl XLIII as a member of the Arizona Cardinals. Urban is believed to be one of just two players, joining former Mount Union and current Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Pierre Garcon, to play in both the Stagg Bowl and Super Bowl.
