MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Oglethorpe University's
Todd Ward, a 6-5 forward from Venice, Fla., has been named a
2010-11 D3hoops.com preseason all-America. The senior was an
Honorable Mention selection.
Ward, who achieved First Team honors for the second consecutive
season, averaged 13.2 points per game (12th best in SCAC) and 8.8
rebounds per game (second best in SCAC) last season.
He held the league's fourth-best shooting percentage (.476) and
blocked the fifth most shots (28).
Entering the 2010-11 campaign, Ward needs only three more points to
become the thirteenth player in SCAC history with over 1,000 points
and 600 rebounds for a career.
