NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC0 placed six women's teams on the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic teams. The six SCAC teams tied for the most from any Division III conference.
Colorado College, which posted a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.563, led the list of six SCAC teams. The Tigers' GPA also placed the team among the top-10 in the country.
Trinity University (3.455), Rhodes College (3.339), Sewanee-University of the South (3.324), Hendrix College (3.322) and DePauw University (3.240) rounded out the remaining five SCAC teams.
To be nominated, a team must carry a minimum 3.100 cumulative GPA.
