CATE CUSHING AND TRINITY LEVY OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, have been selected as the SCAC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for matches played from Monday, March 4 to Sunday, March 10. It is the second consecutive week the duo have earned the honor. SCAC Women's Tennis Release (Week 6)
Cushing, a senior from Colleyville, Texas, and Levy, a sophomore from Camarillo, Calif., earned a critical doubles point to lead the 16th-ranked Trinity women's tennis team to a 5-4 win over No. 19 Case Western Reserve University on Sunday afternoon. Levy and Cushing won 8-6 at line two doubles to keep the Tigers from getting swept in doubles, which turned out to be a huge point in a close match.
