MAGGIE ROBBINS OF TRINITY UNIVERSITY, a junior guard from Plano, Texas, has been named the SCAC Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played from Monday, November 21 through Sunday, November 27. SCAC Women's Basketball Release (Week 3) 

Robbins led the fifth-ranked Tigers to three wins last week, including a pair of wins against nationally-ranked Hardin-Simmons. Robbins averaged 16.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, and 3.3 steals per game over the week, while also shooting 52.8% (19-for-36) from the field. She broke her career-high in scoring twice over the week, finishing with her first career 20-point game on Sunday night at LeTourneau. She scored 18 points to go with six rebounds, seven assists, and five steals in Saturday evening's win over #18/25 Hardin-Simmons. In Sunday's win, Robbins hit 8-of-12 from the field on her way to 20 points, adding nine rebounds, four assists, and three steals. 

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Sophomore guard Kailee Mulkey of Texas Lutheran led the Bulldogs to two home wins this week, nearly averaging a double-double at 13.0 points and 9.0 rebounds per contest. She recorded her first career double-double against Concordia on Sunday with 14 points and 10 rebounds to go along with four steals. Senior forward Amelia Bagwell of Centenary scored a career-high 33 points in the Ladies' heartbreaking 102-101 loss on Sunday to Birmingham-Southern in the Millsaps College Thanksgiving Classic. The 33-point performance is tied for the third-most in a single game in program history. Bagwell also grabbed 16 rebounds and was 13-of-23 from the floor in 35 minutes. First-year forward Taytum Poppe of St. Thomas continued her stellar freshman campaign recording the first double-double of her career this past week. Poppe notched 18 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 66.7 percent from the floor in Saturday's loss to Howard Payne. Sophomore guard Nariyah Buggs of Schreiner had 16 points and was the team's leading scorer in Sunday's 85-51 victory Howard Payne. She also recorded four steals in that game. Buggs averaged 14.0 points for the Mountaineers in their three contests last week and had double-digit points in each game.Sophomore guard Laura Strenk of Colorado College tied her career-high with 16 points in three quarters in Saturday's 94-55 victory over Buena Vista. She also had five rebounds, three assists and three steals in the blowout win.
