Beckles showed well with a pair of singles victories on line three for the Tornados, who went 2-0 as a team last week. Beckles defeated Nicolas Cusano of Mary Hardin-Baylor by a score of 6-2, 6-2. He then blanked Evan Pezirtzoglou of McMurry in conference play with a 6-0, 6-0 win. 

Other Outstanding Performances in the SCAC:
Junior Aashish Dhanani of Trinity led 11th-ranked Tigers men's tennis to a pair of 7-0 wins this weekend, defeating both McMurry and East Texas Baptist. Dhanani went 2-0 in singles play this weekend, starting with a 6-2, 6-0 win at #1 singles against McMurry. He was the first singles point of the day that put Trinity up 2-0 at the time and set the tone for the rest of the matches. Against ETBU, Dhanani earned a 6-3, 4-6, 6-0 win to clinch the match at #3 singles. After going up 3-0, all four remaining singles matches went to a third set, and Dhanani clinched the match for the Tigers to cut off the comeback before it began. These were the first main lineup singles matches of the season for Dhanani, improving to 2-0 on the year. Junior Perry Guidry of Ozarks won both of his matches over the weekend to post a 2-0 singles record. Playing the No. 4 position, Guidry won 6-2, 6-0 against LeTourneau's Liam Wedge on Saturday. He then battled to a 3-6, 6-2, 10-7 win against Conner Lloyd from Rhodes on Sunday. Junior Cash Herrera of Texas Lutheran won his singles match at No. 1 singles against Austin College, 7-6, 7-5, as the Bulldogs' defeated the 'Roos, 7-0.
