SCAC Women's Basketball Recap - Week Nine

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Only one women's basketball team remains undefeated in conference play after the ninth week of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season. 

Austin College (11-4, 5-0) downed Centenary College (6-10, 1-5) and Colorado College (2-15, 1-5) last week to bump their conference record to a perfect 5-0. The 'Roos are in the middle of their best start to open conference play since Austin College joined the SCAC in the 2006-07 season. 

Trinity University (12-3, 3-1) earned a weekend split after falling to Texas Lutheran University (7-9, 3-2) with a final of 65-55 before beating Southwestern University (5-11, 2-3) 60-46. Schreiner University (5-9, 3-1) also split, winning against the Bulldogs but falling to the Pirates. 

The University of Dallas (6-8, 2-3) has won three straight after wins over out-of-conference opponent Dallas Christian and SCAC rivals Colorado College and Centenary.
