SCAC Women's Basketball Recap - Week Eight

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - Three women's basketball teams remain unscathed in conference play after the eight week of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season. 

Trinity University (11-2, 2-0), Austin College (9-4, 3-0) and Schreiner University (4-8, 2-0) currently sit atop the conference leaderboard after strong performances against their respective conference rivals. 

Texas Lutheran University (6-8, 2-1) dropped a close 70-67 overtime contest to Austin College on Saturday for their first conference loss of the year. Southwestern University (4-10, 1-2) split the week after falling to the 'Roos 63-48, and downing the University of Dallas (3-8, 0-3) 82-62.

Both Centenary College (6-8, 1-3) and Colorado College (2-13, 1-3) went winless last week.
