LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The teams are officially set for the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball tournament to be held in Shreveport, La. from Feb. 26-28.
Trinity University (20-4, 11-2), Austin College (16-7, 10-3), Texas Lutheran University's (13-11, 9-4), Schreiner University (11-12, 9-4), Southwestern University (8-16, 5-8), and Centenary College (8-16, 3-11) have all clinched a spot in the tournament.
Last week, Trinity took down Colorado College (4-21, 3-11) and Centenary to push the Tigers into double-digit conference wins. Austin College also went 2-0 earning victories over Southwestern and TLU.
TLU beat the University of Dallas (8-15, 3-10) to secure a weekend split. Schreiner posted a 2-0 record over Centenary and Colorado College. Southwestern also earned a weekend split with their win over Dallas.
