MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Trinity University's women's basketball team climbed three spots to No. 22 in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25.
The Tigers took down Schreiner University, the University of Dallas and Austin College to claim the top spot in the SCAC standings. Trinity's perfect week pushed them to 15-3 overall and 6-1 in conference.
The Tigers are currently leading the league in defensive points allowed (54.8), steals (12.5 per game), and 3-point field goals made (7 per game). This season, Trinity has held opponents to a league-best 31.9% shooting.
The Tigers continue conference play this week against the University of Dallas and Austin College.
